Veneers are a great way to treat chipped, broken or discolored teeth and greatly enhance the appearance and aesthetics of your teeth. Veneers are also effective in closing gaps between teeth and give you a confident smile.
Veneers can be classified into two types, Porcelain Veneers and Composite Veneers (Dental Bonding). In porcelain veneer technique, a thin shell of porcelain is bonded over your tooth surface that is custom made in a laboratory to fit your individual smile and hence require atleast two sittings while composite veneers are built using a composite filling material in the clinic itself.
In this technique, a thin layer of tooth coloured filling material is bonded over your tooth surface. It is then polished and shaped to look like the rest of the teeth. In comparison to the Porcelain Veneers, this procedure is relatively inexpensive and usually completed in one sitting.
In her endeavour to attain aesthetic excellence, Dr. Anjana exclusively uses the Bioclear method to achieve the most natural looking veneers for your teeth.
While the traditional veneer method needs multiple layers of composite material to build the veneer, the Bioclear method uses molten composite that flows around the tooth taking the shape of the Bioclear wrap creating a single, monolithic fill that is way stronger and looks more natural than what can be achieved with the traditional layering technique.
